An Important Message from the Eastern Council that I received:

TODAY, Wednesday, July 29th, don’t forget President Obama will be in Bristol to meet with Kroger employees in a closed-door meeting around 3:30 p.m. to discuss health care. We need to be on the parking lot as quickly as possible to ensure access to the area and a good location for our group so Obama can see our opposition to Cap &Trade. The streets in the area will be closed around 2:30 p.m. according to the TV station this morning.

We MUST have hundreds of people on Kroger’s parking lot (31 Midway Street, Bristol, VA) or nearby to show the President our concerns and fears regarding Cap & Trade Legislation and the devastating impact it will have on the coal industry, its service companies, local counties and communities, and our citizens.
